Firefox 3 - a success!

Do you remember about this article regarding the plans of Firefox 3 to set a World Record? To do that, Firefox 3 must be the most downloaded browser in 24 hours.

Well, Firefox 3 is a true success, being download by more than 8 million people in only 24 h - the top countries being US, Germany, Japan, Spain, UK, France, Iran, Italy, Canada, and Poland.

All we can do right now is just to wait and see what the people from Guinness will have to say about this stunning record, but I am 99% sure that Firefox 3 has made it to the top.

By the way, the guys from Internet Explorer made a delicious present for the guys from Mozilla, congratulating them for their new amazing release:

    “From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3″ @ spreadfirefox.com

They had a strong server, not a joke :)). Anyway…in my opinion the best browsers are Firefox and Opera. IE is the worst browser possible…
